My apologies for spamming your inboxes...I know nobody reads my journal anyway, so I beg that you allow me to rant all I want...LOL...

...That didn't make sense, not that I was planning to...anyway...I finally bought a new travel mug/sippy mug (whatever)because my old one managed to detach itself into two (the outer glittery casing and the inner thermal container thingie) when it fell on the floor a few days ago (my fault, just plain clumsy)and here's what I really dislike with establishments in our country...

if you're not sosyal enough, the store crew always thinks that when you browse/window shop you're planning to shop lift...I just happen to always look ordinary (therefore masa) not that I'm rich or anything, I browse because it shouldn't be illegal! what's wrong with touching stuff when there's no sign saying don't touch? I just hate it that everytime I browse there's an attendant watching my every move...this sometimes provokes me to charge my cards...just to show them who gets paid better...>_< (TAE NYO KALA NYO WALA AKONG PERA???!!!)

so I was at Starbucks, deliberating between the mug that has the same style as my old one but is colored royal blue (not me) and this fat one with origami-like design (kinda like me but I wished it has a handle)...then this pimply dude comes by and starts asking if he can "help" I just so wanna say, "fuck, no, leave me alone" but I couldn't, provided my innate shyness...so we had a chat (I'm quite good at it, believe me) I ended up giggling asking him not to "pressure" me...(SooOO pathetic, kids, don't try it ever) then came the real pressure...I just couldn't not buy anything (it is OK if I go shop in the other branch, there's one near our house too, which is open until 2am so I've plenty of time) but no, my pride came in the way...I immediately picked up the fat with origami-like design mug and ordered tea latte to come with it...I also 'contributed' to their pathetic 'tip box' (it's not a normal practice to tip here, the service charge is always inclusive of any purchase)then walked out all douche-y once I got my order (I made sure I didn't pick up any paraphernalia like those napkins that jologs people seem to hoard just to show off that they can 'afford' Starbucks)...

I really didn't plan to be a douche bag but I just hate it when the store crew starts being judgemental and paranoid...it's irritating when somebody thinks you can't be trusted just by one look...

nevertheless, I really like tea lattes so somehow my afternoon was cheerful...^_~
